OUR COMPANY

Minoa Marine Limited is a ship management company established in 2015 which manages 13 bulk carriers (Panamax, Kamsarmax and Post Panamax vessels) trading worldwide from its offices in Maroussi, Athens.

Minoa’s aim is to grow gradually but steadily to manage a fleet of both dry and tanker vessels. Our policy is to balance our dedicated approach to establishing an enduring presence in the industry as a sound manager of high-quality vessels, with exposure to market fluctuations.

We believe that long-term relationships with our charterers afford us an insight into their business, priorities and concerns.  Our focus is to provide an excellent and seamless service internationally, tailored to our partners’ expectations and requirements.

Minoa is run by an expert team of individuals with extensive experience in shipping and an in-depth knowledge of their area of expertise and the industry as a whole.  The company employs 29 shore-based personnel and 300 seagoing staff. We develop and maintain processes across departments and promote continuing professional development and training. This adds value to what we do and enables us to offer a consistent, integrated service.

Minoa applies strict criteria to crew selection and wellbeing and works closely with Crossworld, a leading Manila based manning agent, to ensure that the vessels under our management are manned by skilled and able officers and crew.

The technical, safety and quality and overall maintenance of our vessels to the highest standards are an overriding priority for Minoa.  Communication and information exchange protocols between vessels and the office are rigorously adhered to and onboard attendances are regular.

Our vessels under management are all debt free, they fly the Marshall Islands flag and P&I cover is provided by the West of England.  Minoa has been issued a DOC by NKK and place great emphasis on safety and compliance with the demanding international regulations and legislation governing the shipping industry.  We aim to obtain ISO 14001 Environmental Management Certification, followed by ISO 9001 Quality Management Certification and ISO 18001 Occupational Health and Safety Certification.
